Venus Williams is coming to a small screen near you and she won’t be playing tennis.

The tennis champ is starring and executive producing a new show about women and entrepreneurship in a project called “Deals in Heels”, according to Deadline. The tennis icon, entrepreneur and Olympic gold medalist will be bringing everything she has learned to help aspiring women entrepreneurs break in.

“As an advocate for gender and pay equality, I’m thrilled to be working with 3 Ball Entertainment on this project that fosters and supports trailblazing women who are actively pursuing their professional aspirations,” said Williams.

The competition show features five women entrepreneurs in each episode who will pitch their business ideas to a panel. Two finalists would then move on to the second round, an “executive suite” where another panel of established business minds will also give their feedback.

The two finalists will also receive all-round mentoring for a month on their business idea before repitching the proposal to the panel. Ultimately, the prize for the winner is an investment in the company.

Tune in to see Venus making boss moves!

  1. I love the concept but really the title of the show? “Deals in Heels?” Doesn’t this totally negate the essence of what she stands for which is “As an advocate for gender and pay equality?” Should the title be “Fiasco in Flats?” But in all seriousness, how about “The Deals of the Century?”
