Members from the Atlanta I and Atlanta II chapters of the WPO were featured on Burr & Forman’s Results Matter radio show on Tuesday, December 11 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The participants included newly-launched Atlanta II Chapter Chair Teresa Hargrave and Atlanta I members Kathie Gottlieb, Phyllis Newhouse, and Suzanne Durbin. The discussion focused around the benefits of the WPO, the importance of face-to-face networking, and the top strategies women can use to grow their businesses.
A quote from Teresa Hargrave provides a good summary of the discussion:
“The idea of being lonely at the top is very true. You’re a woman operating at a top level of business. You may have plenty of friends to talk to, but it’s a challenge to find powerful women willing to talk confidentially about the business developments, trends and challenges facing women business leaders. And that’s really what the WPO is designed to do.”
