Implementing “green” practices into your business will not only help the environment by decreasing your carbon footprint, but will also help cut costs by trimming away extras. A survey done by the National Small Business Assn., shows that 38% of small companies surveyed have invested in some form of energy efficiency programs in the past year and a half. These small changes have the potential to make a considerable impact on the environment, and while in the long run they can save a business money, integrating some energy efficient practices into a business could be costly at first. It is important to research and find the right tools for your business in order to make the first steps to going green.
