International Women’s Day

Today marks the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day, a celebration of the economic, social, and political achievements and advancements of women past and present.  More than 1,000 events are planned worldwide, including the 2011 International Women of Courage Awards Ceremony hosted by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton with First Lady Michelle Obama. As a global organization, WPO celebrates with more than 1,400 women on four continents!
