Kauffman Foundation: “Are Women Entrepreneurs Different From Men?”

A new study done by the Kauffman Foundation takes a look into the question, “are women entrepreneurs different from men,” exploring the few differences, and many similarities found between the two.

To delve into this topic, a survey researched the beliefs of 549 company founders of successful businesses in high-growth industries, including computing, telecom, defense, energy and biotechnology.

One key finding is that experience, professional networks, encouragement and support are all keys to success for high-growth women entrepreneurs, similar to what the WPO found in our survey of the 50 Fastest-Growing women-led companies.
